Bio:

Hello, my name is Stephanie Moss, and I am a resource advocate for the ADC with a focus on El Paso County and extending my support remotely to other regions. I am a native of Colorado Springs and an alumna of Air Academy High School. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology and Human Services from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, laying the foundation for my career in the social work field. My journey began at Griffith Centers for Children, a residential treatment center, where I honed my skills working with adolescents with behavioral and legal issues. Building on this experience, I transitioned to Aspen Pointe, now known as Diversus Health, where I dedicated over 5 years of case management service to individuals and families with behavioral health needs. My commitment to assisting community members with health and resource needs led me to CCHA, where I worked with individuals with Medicaid, particularly those involved in the criminal justice system. I firmly believe in the potential for positive change in every individual and advocate for alternative options to mass incarceration. My perspective stresses the importance of providing individuals seeking change with access to necessary services/resources, a critical step in reducing recidivism.Beyond my professional endeavors, I find joy in my role as a mother to two vibrant daughters and a wife to a wonderful husband. Together, we like to explore the wonders of Colorado. I also enjoy reading, engaging in home improvements, and cherishing moments of relaxation.
