Bri Wiese

Wieseis a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in the Denver metro area. Prior to joining ADC, Bri operated her private practice, providing community-based services to adolescents and young adults involved across multiple systems of care, especially the juvenile courts. Bri has also held clinical positionsin the Division of Youth Services, a residential facility, a non-profit organization serving victims of humantrafficking, a crisis stabilization unit, and as a clinical supervisor in a community-based mental health program. Bri has been a consultant implementing trauma models in residential facilities and lived in West Africa while working at a social welfare office. Within DYS, Bri has provided extensive contract services focused exclusively on supporting communityreintegration,as well as serving AggravatedJuvenile Offenders. Bri has found a profound passion in supporting and advocating tirelessly for those who often feel hopeless and are at the mercy of a broken system. Bri believes in using a client-led, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to strengthen rehabilitation efforts and provide meaningful work in ourmarginalizedcommunities. Bri brings a wealth of knowledge and experience accessing community resources, along with implementing creative and unique solutions to mitigate further incarceration for those she serves. While Bri’s experience is mostly with adolescents and young adults, she is open to working with juveniles and adults. Bri is most passionate about working with direct files, young adults charged with serious felonies, and those suffering from complex trauma.
