Bio:Jess is a licensed clinical social worker. She graduated from the University of Denvers Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW) in 2021. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Colorado College in Spanish Language.Following graduate school, Jess worked as a behavioral health provider at a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing brief therapy, mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and case management for a diverse group of clients including youth, people who had recently migrated to the United States, folks without housing, people with substance addictions, and folks with severe and persistent mental illness.Prior to this, Jess worked in the spheres of migrant advocacy and high school education.Jess prioritizes building rapport with clients and uses a trauma-informed, culturally aware, and anti-oppressive framework. She is open to various cases but is interested in working with youth, people who have migrated to the U.S. or come seeking asylum, and folks without housing.In her free time, Jess can be found rock climbing, skiing and playing with her dog Cedar.
