Bio:Kristi Martel, Esq. has over ten years of experience focusing on excellence in criminal defense. Kristi Martel graduated from the University of Southern California in 2004 with honors, with a Major in International Relations, and minors in Spanish and Advertising. She received her law degree from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, where she committed herself to criminal defense. Kristi Martel fought to free wrongly-convicted prisoners while interning at the Montana Innocence Project, represented people accused of crimes as an intern at the Blair County Public Defenders Office in Central Pennsylvania, and furthered her practice while externing with the Federal Public Defenders Office in the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She is barred to practice in Colorado and worked for 7 years with the Pueblo Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, then founded Kristi Martel Law, LLC in Pueblo, Colorado, in 2021. She is proud to serve those accused of crimes in Southern Colorado jurisdictions such as Pueblo, Fremont, and Otero County.
