Bio:I am a current Master’s student completing a graduate degree in Social Work. I am a highly skilled professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with specialized training in multiple fields. My expertise lies in providing trauma-informed care, crisis intervention and managing individuals with complex mental health/behavioral health and co-occurring disorders. I possesses a strong understanding of systemic inequities and systemic oppression as they relate to clients involved in various support systems, and the legal system. I maintain a certification as a Certified Addiction Technician, with the eventual goal to complete my Licensed Addictions Counselor credential. I have extensive training in Substance Abuse Counseling and Harm Reduction strategies, and also utilize my practical knowledge of Community resource navigation, fair housing, and permanent supportive housing to advocate for and support vulnerable populations within forensic contexts.
