Bio:My name is Margaret Baker. I am a Contracted Resource Advocate and am open to serving across the state. I received my BBA with a double major in Business Administration and Sociology. I have been working with ADC for two years. Prior to ADC, I lived and worked in a shelter for pregnant and parenting women experiencing homelessness. Most of the women living in the home had been incarcerated at some point in their lives. They taught me a significant amount about the incarceration system and the life factors that led them down this path. My experience at the shelter also inspired me to become a doula. I am currently working as a Resource Advocate part time, helping as many clients as I can find their footing and independence in society. I live in Broomfield, Colorado. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, and playing cards and board games.
