Bio:

Marina Bianchi, MSW, LSW, graduated from the University of Denver in November 2024. She interned with the ADC from 2023 to 2024 and earned a full-time FSW contract upon graduation. Marina has experience working on a wide array of cases, including direct file/reverse transfers, 35c, and juvenile cases, with various charges ranging from misdemeanors to homicide. Marina has worked with diverse client populations of various gender identities, ranging from 14 to 70 years old. A person-centered, trauma-informed, and social justice-focused approach guides Marina’s work with clients. Developing trust and rapport with clients is foundational to the various services Marina provides to clients and the legal team. Marina is experienced in clinical interviewing with clients and mitigation witnesses, mitigation and sentencing reports, obtaining and analyzing records, case management, and client advocacy. Marina is based in Denver and has worked on cases across Colorado. Marina’s previous work experience includes a housing program for transition-age foster youth, a housing program for refugees, and sexual assault prevention and education. Marina has a background in social science research, which she uses to create evidence-based reports and treatment recommendations.
