Bio:Olivia Montello has been a criminal defense investigator for 11 years. She worked with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender for 8 years. She was the Supervising Investigator in the Arapahoe Regional Office, where she assisted the Chief Investigator in the training and supervision of a team of 12 investigators. She conducted fact/mitigation investigations on various misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony cases, including direct files/transfers, complex homicides, and capital cases. In 2021, she left the Public Defenders Office and started her own investigation firm, and currently holds contracts with ADC, CJA, and ORPC. In her practice, she continues to work on various juvenile and felony cases, with a focus on homicides, direct files/transfers, and sex assaults.
