Vanessa Hacker

Vanessa Hacker, LSW is a Denver-based forensic social worker. Vanessa first started working with ADC in 2018 as a graduate student intern. The ADC internship solidified Vanessas passion for client advocacy as a member of the defense team. After obtaining her Masters degree from the University of Denver, Vanessa began contracting with ADC in 2019. Since then, Vanessa has worked on a wide array of cases ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree murder cases across the state of Colorado. She has experience working on direct file, transfer and 35c cases. Other areas of experience include competency, I/DD and juvenile placement. Though Vanessa has experience working with adult and juvenile clients alike, she primarily works on juvenile and young adult cases. Prior to her time at ADC, Vanessa completed an internship at Denver County Department of Human Services as a Child Protection-Ongoing Caseworker intern.
