What: OADC PSLF (Public Student Loan Forgiveness) Policies and Procedures Informational Session.

Thank you to everyone who attended our last information session on June 21, 2024: HB24-1374, Judicial Contractor Loan Forgiveness Eligibility. Please join us for a second session where the OADC will present its updated policies and procedures around PSLF.

When: Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 12 pm to 1 pm

What Else: Why a second session? We are listening to you. We received valuable insights and feedback from our contractors and are working to consider and incorporate those complex considerations into the OADC’s policies. We seek to create a policy that is in line with other state agencies, and with best practices in states where similar legislation has been passed. We also want to create a policy that acknowledges the reality of your current contractor experiences. We cannot incorporate everyone’s feedback, but our policies have changed enough that we think a second information session is necessary and would be helpful.

Where is the recording from the last presentation? We have not sent the recording of that session out. Since the policies have evolved and changed since that presentation, we do not want to circulate an informational session that is not current and up-to-date with the most recent policies.

Will this session be recorded & where can I find out more? Yes- it will be recorded. We will provide a link to the OADC policy, associated forms, and an updated recording to all contractors after the informational session. We will provide access to the recording and make it available on our OADC website.
